The Earl Center for Learning welcomes our 2025 Artist in Residence, Jeffrey Nowlin, whose work explores the complexities of human experience through weaving, embroidery, and found materials. His art connects themes of trauma, healing, and embodiment, inviting reflection on how creative practice can mend and reimagine what it means to be whole.
Through his residency at the Earl Center, he will engage with students, faculty, and community members to explore art as a mode of inquiry and care. His practice resonates deeply with the Center’s mission to advance equity, imagination, and justice through design and learning.
Stay tuned for upcoming workshops, open studios, and conversations with the artist as we continue to weave together creativity, research, and community at the Earl Center.
