INSPIRE - Math

The Innovative New Spaces for Practice and Rehearsal in Teacher Education – Mathematics (INSPIRE-Math) fellowship supports third- through eighth-grade math teachers in specific rhetorical and pedagogical strategies moves to encourage rich math conversations and help teachers examine their own biases about who can participate in mathematics discussions. The fellowship includes simulated “practice spaces” for teachers, a monthly in-person teacher community of practice, and individualized coaching and feedback in teachers’ schools.
